  • Parking at night on campus

Please keep the following parking safety tips in mind:

  • Always lock your vehicle doors and roll up windows when leaving your vehicle unattended.
  • Do not leave valuables in plain sight. Secure them in the trunk or take them with you.
  • Park in well-lit areas and consider using steering wheel locks or other anti-theft devices.
  • Do not leave your car running/key in the ignition, even if you are running into a building for a couple of seconds.
  • Do not leave your car unattended for weeks at a time. Continuously check on your vehicle to ensure the safety of your car and belongings. 

    *If you cannot check up on your vehicle, contact FSUPD and fill out an extra patrol form, which will allow the officers to conduct a security check of your vehicle.
