Student Virtual White-Stripes ("VW") Permit
Students currently enrolled in classes and paying tuition (including the Transportation Access Fee) are eligible for this permit.
Eligibility: Students and OPS Employees
Student Cost: Free*
OPS Employee Cost: $78 annually
This permit allows parking in the following areas, as denoted by signage:
- Provides access to Student Lots (white striped spaces) from 5:45 AM to Midnight on weekdays
- Provides access to Employee Lots (red striped spaces) from 4:30 PM to Midnight on weekdays
- Provides access to Shared Lots
- Includes access to the following student lots 24/7, as denoted by signage:

Student Reserved ("VRES") Permit
Students currently enrolled in classes are eligible for a Student Virtual Reserved (VRES) Permit. This permit allows parking in the following areas, as denoted by signage:
- Student Reserved Parking Map
- Provides 24/7 access to specific Reserved lots (bright green striped spaces), as denoted by signage:
- Includes Student Virtual (VW) Permit and Student Overnight (ON) Permit privileges

Cost: $415/annually. Must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
- The permit fee is Non-Refundable.
- Permits are sold for the current permit year, prorated to August 15th.
Permits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to secure a reserved space in one of these lots, please log in to the FSU Parking Permit Portal. This permit allows the registration of up to 5 vehicles, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc., but only one vehicle is allowed on campus at a time.
Back-In Hang-Tag ("B")
This hang-tag is an optional addition to existing permits that allows for back-in parking in surface parking lots.
Eligibility: Students, Faculty, Staff, and Visitors
Cost: $50 annually
Note: The Back-in Hang-tag is not valid in the parking garages. If another hang-tag is in use, the Back-In Hang-Tag can be placed on the vehicle's dashboard. Both hang-tags must be visible. The Back-in Hang-tag is not required for vehicles in Accessible Parking Spaces.
Motorcycle ("VMC") Permit
This permit allows 24/7 parking for a motorcycle, scooter, or moped in any non-gated motorcycle space.
Eligibility: Students, Faculty, Staff, and Visitors
Cost: $58.85 annually
Note: This permit is for a single two-wheeled vehicle. You may not add additional vehicles.
