Student Reserved Parking

Student Reserved Permits for the 2024-2025 academic year are SOLD OUT.

Current students can enhance their free student permit with premium reserved parking options through either a VRES (Virtual Reserved) permit or Stadium Green Lot permit.

VRES (Virtual Reserved) Permit Details:

                          *Requires vacating on home football game weekends.

Permits are valid for the current year, prorated from purchase date to August 15th. New year permits available starting August 15th.
Reserved spaces may be unavailable during major university events (e.g., football games, graduation), but you can remain parked if already in place.

How to Purchase a VRES Permit

  • In order to secure a reserved space in one of these lots, please log in to the FSU Parking Permit Portal at permits.parking.fsu.edu.
  • These permits can be purchased for $415/annually, paid up-front (prorated). The permit fee is Non-Refundable.
  • Permits are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

FAQs

Is this program taking spaces away from students, faculty, and staff using their regular parking permit?

No, the lots and spaces chosen for this program are readily available, and have been found to be underutilized.

Where will this permit allow me to park?

This permit will provide guaranteed parking in one on-campus, specified lot, 24/7, and general parking in all other non-reserved student areas.*
*The Pensacola Street and Spirit Way garages will require vacating on home football game weekends.

Does this permit allow me to park in any student reserved lot?

No, this permit allows you to park in the lot(s) specified when you purchased your permit. 

Does this permit provide a specific reserved space?

No, this permit does not provide for a designated space, but allows parking in the designated reserved section.

Can I purchase a permit for more than one student reserved lot?

Yes, you may purchase permits for more than one student reserved lot. Simply select the permits you desire to purchase in the FSU Parking Permit Portal at permits.parking.fsu.edu.

What if I have a rental/loaner vehicle?

If you are using a rental/loaner vehicle and you have a valid virtual parking permit, simply add the vehicle to your permit and contact us to remove it at the end of the rental/loan period.
